THE STABILIZOR
The Stabilizor® is a unique and exceptionally strong helical piling system (helical pier, helical support) designed and manufactured by Atlantic Foundation & Repair.
Featuring the company's patented articulating bracket, this powerful system gently lifts and permanently supports settled houses and other structures. It is also an excellent remedy for soil problems and can be used to create a firm foundation for new home construction.
The Stabilizor® is engineered to be free of the weaknesses of other foundation systems. For example, systems that use thin shaft anchors or piers are subject to "kinking," or buckling, if the weight of the house structure exceeds the capacity of the anchors. Push pier systems, which repeatedly lift a structure while using its weight to push piers into the ground, can cause "walkout." This occurs when a section that is being lifted moves away from the rest of the structure.
By contrast, The Stabilizor® lifts a house only when setting it back in place.
It is the system's patented articulating bracket that sets The Stabilizor® apart. The bracket is designed to pivot during the lifting and stabilization process. As a result, it remains aligned with the house's foundation, preventing damage to the pile, the bracket itself and the foundation. Without this "give," the results can be induced foundation failure or bending failure points. |
